We visited Supreme Deli this afternoon and experienced style over substance at its peak. The best selling Hari Narial ki Sabzi confidently recommended by the manager despite us clearly stating we did not want the usual peas, beans, and carrots — arrived loaded with exactly that, floating in a bland, lifeless gravy. Apparently “best-selling” translates to “ignore what the customer asks for.” The only thing impressive was the coconut-shell presentation, cleverly distracting from the complete lack of flavor. When we raised the issue, the manager turned defensive instead of accountable. The response that "it is our most in demand dish" was ridiculous. As if your other customers reference has to be dumped on us? Are they sponsoring our bill? Shows how ill trained the staff is. The rumali roti was equally disappointing — brittle, papad-like, and barely edible. Overall, the food was shockingly mediocre and tasteless, with no real quality or substance to justify the sky-high prices. Add to that poorly trained staff — from the kitchen to the service team — and it becomes a textbook example of high pricing without the skill, quality, taste or standards to back it up.
