Sham ka sartaaj sunraj.... old age bar with 1990 feelings great service good atmosphere for a quarter bar filled with veterans and great sea food to taste.... Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Since almost 2 or 2 and half decades, my friend and myself had not visited this hidden gem tucked in nicely in of the by lanes of khar ambedkar road. One cannot trace out unless u have visited earlier.We reached around 7 pm on a Saturday evening and headed straight towards AC section.Surprisingly it was empty.But one of the elderly staff elegantly welcomed us feeling like a Home.He made us comfortable in one of the corner tables and quickly switching ON the TV with 90s songs channel. We got back into our past . Tht staff quickly asked for the order. We orderered ourself our fav royal stag quarter with moon daal and pea nut aka singh chana for chakna For starters we ordered prawns Koliwada. Prawns were fresh.nice ,yummy kurkure taste. But I would name this dish as prawns fry and nt Koliwada as taste of Koliwada was less. Any ways the taste was awsum.so no complaints.Then we decided to go for blenders pride quarter with surmai fry .Surmai again was v v fresh .good portion for two of us and masalas were rightly sprinkled . As we were enjoying the fishes, majority of the neighbouring tables were occupied,but the noise was under control.Then we shifted to beer ordererd ultra full bottle and kingfisher pint with cheese garlic naan ,which I dint like much .would have been crispier and more cheesy.Simultaneously we orderered for main course . Prawns masala was the USP of sunraaj,I must say.It was spicy, apt in taste,freshly cooked. My friend relished to its peak. Had ordered tandoori rotis and chappatis. Tandoori roti ,much better !!!My final verdict SST drinks 90s memoriesGood ,yummy sea food.Friendly staff.Sitting could have been better,but no complaints.4.5 stars !!!!
