Sunnys kitchen opened its doors about half a year ago. Since inception, I’ve grown a liking towards this place. Part of the reason is my close association with Ramiz Bhai, the owner of Sunnys Kitchen. But there is more to this place than that meets the eye. Across my umpteen visits, I’ve almost tried all their items. Here is a short blog post, sans any pictures, about the same.
DATE: 16TH FEB 2016
LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION:
Where there is a flury of restaurants in the Park Street area this place comes at the Elliot road just beside the Ghalib Bar. Newly opened few days ago and doing well to catch the market. Thou it is in the making but still doing good with some quality of food items on their menu cards. Visited her today with a friend to meet the owner Ramiz Bhai to talk about his future prospects of this place.
AMBIANCE AND SERVICE:
Not a very big ambiance, just a three table with capacity of 12 seater for now. Still a Non AC but to be get air conditioned in the coming time. Place is small but there are plans to be initiated. Service is fine. The orders are taken quickly and placed promptly. The kitchen is attached to the resto and the activities can be seen sitting inside.
FOOD:
It was a sudden visit to this place with no plans in mind. Still i was able to taste just a single dish which was Egg Chicken Roll.
The roll was quite good. Paratha was fresh and soft thou the crunchness was missing but later discussed by Ramiz bhai. Chicken was in good numbers as well as tasty. yet to taste more.
EGG CHICKEN ROLL : 7.5/10
QNQ AND PRICES: Quality was ok. Prices are reasonable.
CONCLUSION: My 3.5 is on the basis of the Egg Chicken roll. Yet more to taste in near future. It can't go with only with a roll. So second visit for Biriyani and other is for sure to be done.
NOTE: This review is based on my personal experience to this place.
