Chinese and Indian cuisines are to the pleasure of all guests here. This restaurant offers you nicely cooked tandoori naan, white sauce pasta and vegetable pizza. Do not go away without eating good ice cream, kulfi and brownies. If you want to taste some delicious cordial, margaritas or wine, Sultanat Cafe Fort Jaipur is a nice choice for you. Firstly nowhere it’s mentioned that this is a 100% vegetarian restaurant ( fools like me might get lured just by seeing the façade of this place ) - I came to know this after waiting for 30 whole minutes when the menu was presented to us after seating.
Then comes the price (which I think would have been justifiable if the so called “veg food” had just a LITTLE BIT of taste in it).
The food was very blunt - NO KIDDING (even roadside dhabas make better Dal makhni and paneer than these folks)..!!
Then comes the “mock tail” - we ordered five and to our surprise not one tasted better than the other.
The consistency the taste / texture nothing was up to the mark (AND trust me I know how these mock tails taste for real )
Service was decent hence 2 stars else 1 would have been quite sufficient (that too for ambiance).
Now few questions I have in my mind-
• Why does this place has so much of waiting ? (Not worth it - unless and until they improve their food / drinks quality)
• Why not mention about this palace being vegetarian only ? (A restaurant with such big stature should not be preference specific “purely my thoughts”)
• Why not invest on good cooks for this place ?
• Is this only a insta-friendly place ? What about food lovers ?
