Indian and Vegetarian cuisines under the direction of the great chef are gorgeous at this place. You will enjoy its food, particularly perfectly cooked khichdi, salads and sambar. Most guests indicate that the staff is pleasant. The professional service is a big benefit of this restaurant. A lot of people mention that prices are fair for what you get. The calm atmosphere will be a good addition to yummy meals and excellent location of Sugaran. Google users awarded this place 4.1.

Solapur has been dear to my heart as I spent a decade in my college going time. Heard about Sugaran from my dear friend while transiting through Solapur & decided to check this place out. Fortunately, found a parking on street right across the hotel. The security guard promised me to keep an eye on my car. Well, we're welcomed by an elderly host at a counter with a smile. Requested him a Thali and a Thalipeeth for two of us. He looked quizzically and advised to drop Thalipeeth as it was included in Thali. Honesty. In a few minutes another elderly man brought two thalis. We dug in. Jawar roti was lovely. Baingan subzee was simply great. Kadhi was a tad sweet but okay. Groundnut Chutney, mirchee thhecha and Salad were very tasty. Simple yet hot piping food brought me to content. Most importantly, the gentleman & the lady who served us proved the concept of Atithi Devo Bhava. Polite with a disarming smile, they lovingly insisted that we eat more. And we did. It's not the mere decor which makes the impression. It's the people who run the establishment and the quality of food that decides the fate. I see a bright future for this homely, tiny place. Recently visited this restaurant after looking so many positive reviews. But I was totally disappointed with the food and regretting that why I visited here. Photos in reviews looks good but actual food quality was worst.

I had ordered unlimited thali. The gravies were watery and tasteless. Chapaties and thalipeeth were like pet food. Staff was fine but weren't attending unless ask. Dal khichdi was like rice filled with yellowish water, totally tasteless.

I had proudly taken my family to the restaurant claiming we will get authentic Maharashtrian menu's here but beliver me guys I was cursing myself with the every bite I was taking.

There are many restaurants around and you will get decent food there (I have personally experienced) .I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
