As-salaamu alaykum dear Sisters and Brothers, I visited this place many years ago when I was travelling from Dibrugarh, Assam to Kolkata. I asked locals travelling with me in the train on tourist places I must never miss when visiting Kolkata and and someone mentioned that I should visit the Nakhoda Masjid. After Al Fajr Sa'lah, I took a taxi and visited it. On my way out, I was searching for places to have a good breakfast. That's when I discovered this eat out down the road. It serves amazing food. I had rotis with Nihari paaya. I have lived in hyderabad for many years, and this place served the best hyderabadi breakfast I have ever eaten, for life. The food was so good, alhamdulillah. If you choose to parcel it or take leftovers, do not take it in the plastic containers they provide, carry a stainless steel container or tiffin box so that the hot food does not spoil when u decide to have it later during the day. If you’re a true food lover and happen to be around Zakaria Street, Sufia Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. This place is a legend when it comes to authentic Mughlai flavors, and their Nihari is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Rich, deeply spiced, and slow-cooked to perfection the meat just melts in your mouth and pairs beautifully with their soft, fluffy tandoori rotis. I also tried their Paya, which was incredibly flavorful with a silky, gelatinous broth that speaks of hours of patient cooking. The Beef Biryani was another winner aromatic, well-balanced, and packed with tender meat. And don’t miss their Mutton Korma, a dish that bursts with bold flavors and just the right amount of spice. The place might look simple, but the food speaks volumes. It’s authentic, soulful, and unapologetically rich everything you’d expect from a traditional Mughlai kitchen.
