Subway HPCL Sion has become a huge disappointment, and my recent visit has ensured I will not return. The outlet no longer feels like a place focused on serving good sandwiches instead, customers are left waiting while staff prioritise personal gossip over basic service. Experience at the counter--I had to stand and wait for my order while the staff continued their casual conversation, completely ignoring the fact that a customer was waiting to be served. The person taking the order, Adnan, and another staff member, Shruti, were more interested in chatting than preparing my food, which made the delay even more frustrating. Unprofessional behaviour--From their loud conversation, it even seemed like the store manager, Simon, is in a relationship with his co‑worker Shruti, and that personal equation was clearly spilling over into the work environment. The outlet felt less like a professional food joint and more like a casual hangout or “lovers’ park,” which is absolutely unacceptable in a corporate franchise setup. Overall impression--Overall, the service was irritating, unprofessional and disrespectful to customers’ time, completely overshadowing any expectations of good food. After this experience, there is no intention to visit the Subway HPCL Sion outlet again, and it strongly feels like typical corporate indiscipline and internal affairs are ruining the store.
