Their coffee is exceptional, and the Vietnamese coffee is an absolute standout - rich, bold, and beautifully balanced. Subko lives up to its reputation when it comes to coffee. As a group of five coffee enthusiasts, we sampled a variety of brews—iced and hot—and each one delivered in depth and flavor. The coffee here is clearly the hero, and it's evident that a lot of thought goes into the sourcing and brewing. That said, the prices are definitely on the premium end, which would’ve been more justifiable if the food held up equally well. We tried the Spanish Frittata, Sidecar Am Banger, and Avocado Toast—each well-executed in taste, but the portions were underwhelming. Most egg dishes came with a single, small slice of sourdough, which just doesn’t cut it, especially for what they charge. The space has a decent vibe, and for coffee purists or those who enjoy discovering unique flavor notes, Subko is worth a visit. But if you’re looking for a filling brunch experience alongside your brew, you might leave a bit unsatisfied. A solid one-time visit, mainly for the coffee. This newest cafe/speakeasy bar is a coffee lover paradise. As soon as you step into the place the wonderful coffee aroma opens up all your senses. The place offers cosy vibes with coffee options curated from world over. We ordered the coffee tonic, and gur cold brew both the drinks were amazing. For food we had crispy fried chicken which was just average somehow the chicken was too hard and chewy. Next on the table was rum infused chemex which blew our minds , and peri peri prawns which were one of best we had. If your love your coffee don't look anywhere else, place has well stocked bar to there is something for everyone. With speakeasy bar right above the coffee bar and live music ,the place should be on your next goto list.
