Good masala dosa, vada and idli might be what you need. A lot of visitors order great coffee. Many people point out that the staff is patient at this restaurant. Spectacular service is something guests appreciate here. The homey atmosphere will be a good addition to yummy meals and great location of Street of Prasanta. A hidden Gem is the only thing I can say about this place. I first tried them by ordering their Egg & Chicken Fried Rice (Schezwan Style) on Swiggy, and honestly, it was fantastic. The flavors were just right, and the quality was spot on. The next day, I decided to try something else from their Chinese menu, and once again, it was absolutely delicious. My family ordered Mushroom Masala with Roti, and let me tell you—the Mushroom Masala was out of this world. The food was so good that I ended up ordering every single day for the five days I was in Kolkata. It’s very difficult to find a place that maintains the same high standard with every single order. What truly blew me away was their amazing service. We had a home pooja, and our caterer canceled last minute. In a panic, we called Street of Prasanta at 6 PM, asking if they could deliver 15-17 bhog thalis by 12 PM the next day. The menu included Dry Fruit Pulao, Aloo Dum, Dal, Chutney, Stuffed Poori, Begun Bhaja, and Kesari Halwa—a proper festive meal. To my surprise, they not only accepted the order but delivered it on time, with incredible quality and perfect packaging. They truly went above and beyond, and I can’t recommend them enough. If you’re around and looking for amazing food and genuinely great service, this is the place to go. I know I’ll be ordering from them again next time I’m in town!
