If you happen to be around Agni Mandir, visit this cafe. Food delivery is a big advantage of Kona Dukan. Google users are quite generous with this place: it was granted 4.4 stars.
Kona Dukan at Poddar Court truly lives up to its name — tucked away in the “kona” (corner) of the narrow lanes of central Kolkata, right near Dalhousie and Poddar Court. A visit here is more than just about food; it’s about soaking in the heritage charm of old buildings, the morning breeze, and the nostalgia of Kolkata. This place is perfect for an early weekend breakfast with family or friends. You’ll find a wide variety of options — from hot kachoris, malai toast, and piping hot tea to dosa, idli, vada pav, sandwiches, and much more. Everything is fresh, delicious, and served with a vibe that feels truly local. The crowd adds to the energy, the food is amazing, and the overall experience is refreshing — a beautiful contrast to the modern café culture. Highly recommended if you want to start your weekend on a flavorful, nostalgic note. Heard a lot about this place as one of the must visit in Kolkata but i was bit disappointed since the club kachori i had was very average and overpriced when compared to other shop in the locality, malai toast was again very basic but the bread use was good and the only product which i liked was there chai it was a top notch. They usually dont accept UPI so carry cash .Prices are on very higher side as its a road side sitting Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
