It's mere cheating customers in the name of Champaran Handi Mutton which costs about more than Rs1000 with tax. This "State Plate" outlet of Jadavpur Kolkata just simply fills the earthen pot with normally cooked mutton , wrap the lid with fresh wheat daw just to give a look of Champaran Handi Mutton. Not even the earthen pot placed for a while on clay oven. It was so cool when touched. Taste of food is just below average and the same of about the quality of mutton used. I returned from Ranchi today morning and had experienced same item yesterday there, so could differentiate it what is actual Champaran Handi Mutton and what is just imitation of original.
