A number of people mark that the staff is terrific at this place. The fast service shows a high level of quality at this cafeteria. But many clients who use Google didn't give St. Stephen's Hospital Canteen a high rating.

Reasonably priced vegerarian canteen serving a variety of dishes to visitors coming to the hospital. It's run by a Keralite and hence you get excellent masala dosa and idli sambar. There is also chow mein, samosa, veg thali and ice cream on the menu. The canteen is also well stocked with basic grocery items, many of them sourced from South India. Hence you get red rice, pickle of brands popular in the South and a banana variety normally not seen in Delhi. Nursing staff and doctors who live on the campus find this canteen to be really useful. For visitors and patients, it's a little off the way as the location of this canteen is a bit obscure, at the end of the other end of the hospital, in the Old Building. This is NOT the canteen which is near the visitors parking. So please don't get confused with that.
