What a gem we found this time in Goa , lovely little bakery tucked in the corner of a busy road . Aunty was a pleasure to talk to and the food items where great , packed some to take back to mumbai too ! What was marketed as a nostalgic marzipan Easter treat from Joseph Bakery turned out to be a disappointing and misleading experience. The product bore none of the promised quality its texture was dry and chalky, its aroma harsh, and any trace of real marzipan was virtually nonexistent. To make matters worse, a plastic toy was hidden inside, undermining the integrity of a confection meant to evoke tradition and trust. While the presentation was decent, it only served to mask the profound lack of authenticity. This wasn’t just a poor product it was a betrayal of culinary heritage. True lover’s of marzipan are advised to steer clear of Joseph Bakery entirely. Rating: 1 out of 5 solely for the toy. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
