I recently had the pleasure of visiting St. Anthony Bakery in Deussa, Goa and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Firstly, the bakery itself has a charming and quaint atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries, which is enough to make anyone's mouth water. The interior is beautifully decorated with a rustic touch, creating a warm and cozy ambiance. Now let's talk about the food. St. Anthony Bakery offers a wide range of delectable treats, from breads and cakes to cookies and pastries. Everything is made from high-quality ingredients and it certainly shows in the taste. I tried their freshly baked bread and it was absolutely divine. The crust was perfectly crispy while the inside was soft and fluffy. It tasted so good that I ended up taking a loaf home with me. Their pastries are equally impressive. From traditional Goan desserts like bebinca and dodol to international favorites like croissants and éclairs, St. Anthony Bakery offers something for everyone's taste. I particularly enjoyed their signature pastry, the Belem cake. It had a crispy caramelized top with a creamy custard filling that was simply heavenly. The service at St. Anthony Bakery is also commendable. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the various treats they offer. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had and provided excellent recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend St. Anthony Bakery in Deussa, Goa to anyone with a sweet tooth or a love for freshly baked goods. The cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service make it a must-visit destination for bakery lovers. I am already looking forward to my next visit and trying out more of their scrumptious offerings.
