Stopped by Sri Priya Mess during our last trip to Karaikudi, and it absolutely delivered the kind of fiery, flavourful experience you'd expect from Chettinad cuisine. We ordered three meals, and the total came to around ₹1200, which felt fair given the quality and portion sizes. The Mutton Biriyani was the highlight—tender meat, perfectly spiced rice, and that unmistakable depth of flavour that only slow cooking can achieve. If you're into bold, spicy food, this place won’t disappoint. ️. To cool things down, we grabbed a couple of Goli sodas, and wow—instant nostalgia. That fizzy pop and the clink of the marble brought back childhood memories in the best way. The place is no-frills, but the food speaks for itself. Worth a stop if you're passing through or craving authentic Karaikudi flavours.
