I visited Hotel Sri Viveka on 1st September, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant has a simple yet inviting ambiance, making it a comfortable spot for a casual meal. I tried the masala dosa, poori masala, parotta kurma, and chola poori, and here's what stood out: The masala dosa was crispy and perfectly golden, with a generous filling of spiced potato masala that was both flavorful and satisfying. The dosa was served with a variety of chutneys and sambar, which complemented the dish well. The poori masala was a classic, comfort breakfast choice. The pooris were fluffy and not overly oily, paired with a mildly spiced potato masala that was just right for an early morning meal. The parotta kurma was another highlight, with the parottas being soft and flaky. The kurma was rich and aromatic, making it a delightful combination that stood out for its balanced spices and creamy texture. Lastly, the chola poori was a filling option, featuring large, fluffy poori served with a flavourful chickpea gravy. It had a nice, slightly spicy kick that made it an enjoyable dish. Overall, Hotel Sri Viveka offers a good variety of traditional South Indian dishes that are well-prepared and satisfying. It's a great spot for a hearty breakfast with a decent balance of taste and value for money. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
