During my Thanjavur-Madurai trip, my friend and I had the pleasure of dining at Sripriya Mess, Karaikudi, and it was an unforgettable experience! The restaurant has a beautiful Tamil ambiance, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Chettinadu. It is the perfect place to enjoy authentic Tamil Nadu cuisine, especially the famous Chettinad dishes. The seafood varieties were outstanding, cooked with traditional spices that bring out the true essence of Chettinad flavors. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced, making it a great choice for food lovers. One of the best parts of our experience was that they offer a variety of curry gravies as complimentary tastings, allowing us to savor different flavors in a single meal. If you're in Karaikudi and want to indulge in authentic Tamil Nadu and Chettinad cuisine, Sripriya Mess is a must-visit! Highly recommended. So delicious and tasty traditional food. We had mutton chukka, moolai, nattukozhi masala gravy, crab masala, mutton rasam. Everything is superb. Atmosphere is not looks great, but ok. Walkable distance (around 400m) from kopudai nayaki amman temple and bustop. If you are food lover, then you must visit Sri Priya Mess, Karaikudi.
