Time for other good veg restaurants to come and play the field. This veg restaurant lacks in service , promptness and cleanliness. Food is average at most. Had idli vada. Chutneys lack life. Dosa was limp and dry. The whole experience was underwhelming. Since no other restaurants are equipped with this kind of seating capacity and they possess the saravana brand value people are still attracted to this restaurant. India has long needed a proper restaurant rating agency. Most eateries operate with little regard for hygiene—and Sri Mu Saravana Bhavans are no exception. The wash areas, seating, tables, and even the floors are often filthy. For a chain of this size, it's unacceptable not to have trained managers overseeing daily operations.
