For a truly authentic South Indian late lunch, we headed to SLV, and it was absolutely perfect! We ordered a feast of classic dishes: Idli, Vada, Masala Dosa, and, of course, their legendary super strong coffee. The taste was simply divine – pure, unadulterated South Indian comfort food. The Idli was soft and fluffy, the Vada was perfectly crispy, and the Masala Dosa was expertly made with a delicious filling. I am truly disappointed with their quality nowadays. It was too good when they opened the outlet in the RBI Layout. There was no other hotel nearby. The quality was good when it was newly opened. As days passed by, their quality also has come down. The staff working in the hotel have changed resulting in poor quality. Not much rush or takeaway is there now. The nearby hotels launched subsequently have picked up. Only a handful of visitors continue to meet here for their coffee/tea. Management has to revamp to improve the quality.
