Visited Kamatchi Non-Veg Restaurant near Rock Beach in Pondicherry. The place is known for its authentic South Indian non-vegetarian dishes. I tried the dosa, set dosa, nattu kozhi (country chicken) roast, and elaneer payasam (tender coconut dessert). Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The dosa was crisp and served hot, the nattu kozhi roast was spicy and rich in traditional Chettinad flavors, and the elaneer payasam was a refreshing way to end the meal. The service was prompt, and the ambience was simple but clean. Overall, a good spot for anyone looking to enjoy local non-veg delicacies near Rock Beach. One of the best Non veg restaurants in white town, puducherry. We visited for lunch and tasted the following 1. Chicken 65 biryani 2. Chicken kamatchi 3. Malli chicken 65 4. Mutton kolla 5. Chicken karandi omelette 6. Chicken perattalsatham 7. Elanner payasam 8. Madurai Jigarthanda Chicken 65 biryani was so flavourful and delicious and tasted similarly to dindigul style biriyani. Chicken 65 pieces in biriyani were quite hard. Chicken kamatchi is their signature dish Malli chicken 65 was delicious and crispy Chicken karandi omelette and chicken perattalsatham definitely a must try. Mutton kolla could have fried crispy and the stuffing has less flavours. Elanner payasam was smooth and refreshing Jigarthanda was good, sugar content could have been less.
