While traveling from Coimbatore to Kerala for a relaxing day at Cherai Beach, I stoped upon this cool authentic Kerala home-style lunch and I must say, it was best. The meal was served on a fresh banana leaf, true to Kerala tradition and featured a delicious variety of local delicacies. The highlight of the meal was the freshly cooked fish fry and a flavorful baby prawn masala perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The side dishes were simple yet soulful and the Kerala rice and curry combinations brought out the essence of Kerala’s rich food culture.
