Had one of the most paisa vasool meals of my life here. I was just strolling around looking for a simple restaurant where I could take food to eat at my hotel, but I came across this small shop that had a lot of people coming in. They were only serving the veg thali and I opted for the same. I received over half kg of rice, two dry vegetables sabji, vegetable curry, one sambhar curry, pickle, one papad, rassam and buttermilk. The rice can be eaten among 3 people who are heavy eaters. All this for Rs 80 and not only was it hot, but appetising as well. It’s a small restaurant, not that fancy but if you want to experience what authentic, local food is, this is your spot. Ghee roast and vada was just finger lickin’ good. It is a small congested space. But the only memorable food in munnar that u want to keep going back for is this. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
