Dining at this restaurant with a wonderful view of Park Street will be a positive experience for guests. Indian cuisine is provided at South Indian Restaurant (Southern Grit). This place offers you nicely cooked chicken. Most guests recommend trying good brownies. Great cold coffee is served - try and enjoy.

This is a tiny but beautiful place for your lunch or dinner. I'm not a south indian lover but their non veg south indian dishes are really good. I tried chicken masala uttappam which was like a chicken pizza and as it was summer, the lemon & mint mojito was perfect. Stuffs are very humble, they even add a lot of sugar in my drink as per my request. The owner personally ask everyone if everything is good..what to improve. The price is also reasonable and the food quantity is enoughfor one. Must try their pastries ..chocolate brownies and red velvet pastry is soo good. I also love their tiny washroom which is soo neat and clean. You must visit even if you're not a south indian lover like me..it's worth it. Food is delicious, staffs are very very friendly and very welcoming. One of the main problem in South Indian foods(infact in any food) is the food tastes good when it is hot, it doesn’t taste that good when it is served cold, but their packaging is so well done you don’t need to worry about food specially for take out. The prices are moderately a little high but you will not complain after tasting the food. I’m not a fine dining fan or fancy restaurant fan(I run on low budgets) instead I prefer street foods but in this case I would definitely recommend this place for South Indian cuisine.
