I recently visited South Stories in Thane. The place has a minimal yet Instagram-worthy vibe with pretty wall art, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. They’re usually known for their authentic South Indian food, but I went during their Mumbai Street Food Festival and it was such a fun surprise. The Cheese Pav Bhaji was creamy, buttery and loaded with cheese – a real comfort dish. The Tawa Pulao had that perfect street-style spice kick without being too oily. The Manchurian Cheese Frankie was my favorite – cheesy, tangy and filling. The Jungle Sandwich was loaded with layers of veggies and sauces, just like the Mumbai roadside version. To balance it all, I had their Watermelon Juice, which was refreshing and light. Overall, loved how they gave a street food twist inside a clean and cozy restaurant space. Would definitely come back for both their festival specials and their South Indian menu. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
