as the name suggests South Side, it's a south Indian restaurant with only south Indian items in the menu, pure vegetarian, food is below average, too much oily, chutney was cold , sambar and curry were stale and tasteless, ambience is just plain and simple, service is fair and the food prices are decent.

Very good tamilian style food.The food is very decently priced and is very generously served.The owner of the place is a friendly as well.Sambhar is pretty good and so are the chutneys.Vadas are crisp as well
