South ruchis offers a wide range of south indian cuisines, their maharaja meal is really outstanding, each dish in the plate tasted absolutely delicious. Akki rotti for breakfast and mysore masala dose, neer dose, paddu are must try. A must visit south Indian restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The name is similar to the restaurant on Race course Road and the similarity ends there. They only had the big meal instead of the Simple south Indian meal. Meal is served on a plantain leaf. Starts with a corner payasa, dry jamoon and coconut holige with one peanut kosumbri. Coconut chutney was authentic served with two kinds of pakoda/vade. Main course pulao was decent followed by white rice and tambuli or majjige huli. Rasam was served thick, more like the bottom part and not at all watery. When asked the staff said that part is over. Then why insist that only special meals are available if all items are not available. We ordered palak khiccdi which reminded of palak paneer as it had an overdose of palak gravy. Service was not what we expected. The restaurant has all good elements but execution is a bit lazy or lacks the energy.
