Good to see that this place has still not lost to its modern day competitors.
The menu offers fried snacks like fries, kabirajis, cutlets and also Chinese! Having heard it to be renowned for kabirajis and cutlets,I tried their fish kabiraji and Mughlai paratha. Both were honestly pretty average. They were fried nicely to give a good crisp texture but it was very oily and I felt the quality of the oil was not at all good. They also have kulfi and that was quite delightful though. The kulfi with lots of falooda was a nice way to end a rather disappointing meal.
The place is typical of the more older establishments with wooden seating arrangements, small cabins and no air conditioning. On the whole the place is a bit shabby. The waiters also seem to be working here for ages and do not look too interested! Hygiene and cleanliness is not the best either. The prices are high considering the quality and the ambience.
In short, for me,at present there is little to this place other than some heritage and may be nostalgia.
