1/5 – Completely ruined after renovation I have been a regular visitor to South Kitchen, Amravati since their inauguration, but after a gap of about a year, this visit was a dreadful shock. The renovation looks good, but it seems the entire staff—including the chef—has changed, and they clearly have no idea what they’re serving. I ordered a Mysore Masala Dosa and instead of proper masala, they literally spread green chutney all over the dosa. The dosa itself was thick, chewy, and poorly cooked. When I questioned them about it, the staff—and even the chef—didn’t seem to know what Mysore Masala Dosa is supposed to taste like. The Podi Masala Dosa was even worse—so rough and dry that it felt like eating sandpaper. To top it off, the filter coffee was a joke: overloaded with milk and sugar, barely any coffee flavor. South Kitchen was once known for authentic taste, but now it’s just fancy interiors with zero authenticity and poor food quality. Very disappointing experience. Food is really good but service is really bad…would not recommend for walk in sitting…rather order online or parcel it unless you want to wait endlessly. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Breakfast
