It’s truly disappointing to experience such discrimination. A restaurant refusing to serve two girls for a candlelight lunch, claiming that they only allow a boy and a girl, reflects a mindset that is outdated and unacceptable. Despite explaining that we were just friends, they strictly denied us service. In this era, such things should not be tolerated. Thankfully, there are many cafes in Ahmedabad that embrace inclusivity and allow all kinds of people to enjoy a meal, regardless of gender. We ended up going to Navrangpura for a candlelight dinner. It’s high time people start changing their narrow-minded views and realize that everyone deserves equal treatment. It's time to grow up and move beyond these biases.
