After a long walk around Sri Aurobindo Bhawan, visit this restaurant and have a rest here. Italian dishes are to be tried here. It's time to relax and order perfectly cooked Italian pasta, grilled prawns and cheese ravioli. Good Italian tiramisu, caramel ice cream and blueberry cheesecakes have a nice taste. Not happy with my experience at Sorano at all! I’ve heard great things about this place, but when attending, very disappointed and will not be coming again. Was placed in the first room when you enter the restaurant as we were sitting down for dinner. All other guests were in the bar area. This meant as soon as we sat down, service staff forgot about us and were not attentive. The food took too long to be served with both me and my sister going and standing at the kitchen door asking for the food after 1 hour of waiting. The service staff were not bothered to serve us and only gave attention to the bar. The food also wasn’t anything amazing. Did appreciate the paste being fresh, however the flavour was not elevated. Presentation was good however. When you do high prices in Cal, you expect great good with great service. In Sorano, the service lets its down a lot.
