When it comes to Nirvana Courtyard, the catch word is 'posh' locality. Sonya Bakery Cafe located in Nirvana Courtyard is one of the three chain of bakeries in NCR - DLF DT Mega Mall / DLF City Phase-I, South Point Mall, Sector-53 Gurgaon and this one which I am writing about.
Usually, I don't happen to go towards Nirvana Courtyard for shopping and eating out but off late, this has been my third trip to Nirvana Courtyard in the last 10 days. I keep visiting Sector-D / South City-2 Market frequently and exploring further gives me more visibility in terms of better shopping avenues supplemented by eating joints.
I picked an onion cheese bread and a multi-grain loaf. The Sonya Bakery Cafe has lots n lots of variety in breads, muffins, toasts, pies, rolls and cakes. The cleanliness and decor of the bakery outlet is of high standard. The outlet has a sitting area upstairs and approximately 10-12 people can easily accommodate. The service is efficient with 2 to 3 people attending to your requests.
I enjoyed the fresh lime soda as my beverage for the day. Actually, all messed up during the torrential rains today at our good ole Gurgaon, I halted here at this bakery at around 5:30 pm while I was returning from Sector-62 Gurgaon.
Most of the customers are from Nirvana and the food stuff at this bakery sells like 'hot cakes' for sure !
