Food taste is genuinely good for the price, perfect for a filling North Indian meal on a budget. Located conveniently near Dmart Square in Kondhwa, it’s quite accessible too. The only thing I’d suggest is paying a bit more attention to cleanliness. A few small improvements here and there, and this place can easily become a go-to spot! 19.5.2024Last night, had planned my dinner, but was feeling a little lazy to cook . So decided to order Chana Bhature, from Sodhi Naan House, which is just 1.2 kms away. And their food has a homely touch.But was shocked, when on Zomato, the delivery charge was 52/-. More than 1/3rd the price of Chana Bhature... 140/- ( as at dinner time, one plate is sufficient for both of us ). Thus, decided to order one more dish... Dal Khichdi... 180/-So Dinner last night, was Chole Bhature. It was more than sufficient for us.Had the Dal Khichdi, at Lunchtime today. Gave it a fresh tadka with ghee and lots of chopped garlic. Had along with papad and homemade tomato chutney. 18.6.2024Yesterday, we had a friend over for lunch. And he wanted to have food at Sodhi Naan House. So we went there. And had their signature, Chole Bhature... 100/- . Asked for an additional bhatura and chana, which they obliged (as usually, they don't give a single bhatura ). Had Onion Paratha... 80/-. A huge and a filling paratha, which came along with curd and pickle. Though we were full with this, but wanted to give their Amritsari Naan... 100/- a try. A paneer and masala stuffed naan, that came along with chana masala. We had Salty Lassi (2)... 40/-. Sweet Lassi (2)... 60/-.Total bill 450/- for 3 people... . Including the extra bhatura, chana and curd, that we took. Real VFM ... 30.6.24Today, after a heavy and late breakfast of Misal Pao... We stepped out for some work and for having lunch. Finally, decided to have late Lunch at our favourite. .. Sodhi Naan House. Because of the lovely, cool and rainy weather, decided to have Chole Bhature . Huge, puffed up Bhature, came in hot, hot, one by one ( 2 in a plate ). . And washed down with nice, Salty Chaas / Lassi. Had planned to have their, Tadka Dal Khichri too. But were too full with Chole Bhature, that gave the Khichri, a skip. As they wanted to have Chole Bhature, at 'The' popular... Sodhi Naan House .So, it was Chole Bhature and Makki Ki Roti and Sarson Ka Saag, along with Sweet Lassi and Salty Lassi. Their bhature are huge and soft and very filling. They come along with accompaniments of sliced onions, mixed pickle (their inhouse) and pickled chillies. Excellent .The makki ki rotis were also very soft. And wonderful sarson ka saag. Both with a big blob of butter.It's like, home food ... Home away from home. .Everybody really enjoyed the sumptuous meal. That beyond this, we were unable to eat anything else. The Total Bill for 5 ppl was 780/-, for... Chole Bhature... 4 plates.Makki Ki Roti and Sarson Ka Saag (1/2)... 1 plate.Sweet Lassi... 1.Savoury Lassi... 3.
