Both VGP Universal Kingdom and Skanda are recommended for visiting. The Chinese cuisine is nice at this restaurant. Many people come to try good sambar.
Restaurant has gone down on Quality off late. And they behave very Rude to customers may be many of us gone regularly and made them to big and behave such. We have better restaurant than this in few mts. distance. Let's not take ride of customers .
It's a good restaurant. Though not many items, it is very reasonable for the price and the ambiance is great. It's way better than Meen's fast food or anything nearby that area.
On a veg only day, ordered from this newbie. Chilli Idly was nice and flavorful but the idly tasted slightly bitter. Ghee Thattu Idly is not something which we usually order so it was a different option. But having had Podi Idly in Murugan Idly Kadai a lot of times, the podi here was very less. Anyways don’t know whether Thattu Idly always comes with Podi so it was fine. Chutney and Sambar tasted very well.
Now jumping to dosas, had the usual Onion Rava Dosa which was decent. I always prefer to have Dosas while dining in rather than take away as it tends to stick together. Mushroom Cheese Dosa was good too with ample amount of mushroom but less of cheese. Maggi Dosa was the one I was most skeptical about but it was lovely, the Maggi was just like how we make at home. So we got the taste of Maggi in every bite.
Even though it was not exactly a feast of order, I’d like to give a brownie point because the food didn’t make us feel heavy on our stomach, which usually happens in these kind of masala filled dosas. Also the dosas were less oily, generally when we order we could see a layer of oil sticking to the paper, which wasn’t the case here.
