After enjoying Inter National Institute of Fashion Design, it may be a good idea to visit this restaurant. Indian cuisine is recommended to try at Sindhi Rasoi. Food delivery is an important benefit of this place. Fast service is something visitors appreciate here.
Taste - 1/5
Service - 1.5/5
I ordered chole bhature, special punjabi thali and malpua.
Chole were really dark for my taste and bhaturas were fat and dripping with oil. Now I agree I ordered a deep fried dish, but i did not hope for half of that cooking oil to be in the parcel.
The punjabi thali had a boiled dal too bland to be even considered punjabi. A matar paneer in questionable gravy, and the only edible thing - aloo. Yes, the only thing in the thali that I could break my bread with were the dry aloo. It also had a side of rice that remained untouched, just because of the look of boiled mush. But the paranthas were real heavy, generous on size and cooked perfectly.
Malpuas, the ones I placed my bets on, were soggy and seemed to compete with the bhaturas in oil championship. It was hard to identify syrup out of oil in the mapluas.
Regarding service, the delivery was made 95 minutes after placing the order. I admit that when you run a food establishnent there arise over a million complications, but I still expect the least courtesy to at least be informed if I'm supposed to wait for twice the expected delivery time. The reason I gave tge extra 0.5 above well deserved 1 star rating is that the delivery guy, somehow managed to do the generosity of slipping a barely audible sorry when arrived at my doorstep, 95 minutes after ordering.
I recommend this place, if all you look for is quanity and are low on pocket to afford good food. Sindhi Rasoi, I hope my experience would be different if I ever order again!
