Posting it as an alumni. Been there in Manipal from 2007-11 and Sindhi mess was my go to place. Holds special memories. The food was good then definitely compared to hostel messes but the feel was much better. Sindhi Anna, the mess owner will be loved always. The place looks like it has an air of mystery to it when you first enter. Like entering someone’s house to eat but every room is the dining room. The side dishes are kept on the table and can there is no restriction on how much you can take. Rotis are made freshly and served to you by the helpers. At the end you can wash it down with a cool glass of lassi. The price as of November 2023 is 100 for veg , 110 for non-veg and 30 for lassi. Way better food than the options nearby for the same budget and also more nutritious. Unfortunately they don’t serve breakfast and on Sundays Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
