Simply South is located in the food court at Inorbit Mall.
The place serves south Indian food as the name suggests.
On my visit, I ordered for a filter coffee.
The person took my order and asked me to wait.
Truly speaking, it took eternity for them to prepare a simple coffee, that too when I asked umpteen number of times.
Even though, the coffee was prepared, the staff forgot to inform me about it.
It was only when I asked for it, I could get it.
Coming to the coffee, it was nothing special and didn't do any justice to its price tag of Rs 45.
Not sure, if I would be coming back to them anytime soon.
I would rate it 2.5 because I love south Indian food and this was the only such outlet at Inorbit Mall.
Rava Dosa was good but the Sambhar was sweet which is not the proper Sambhar taste. Also, it wasn't well heated. Chatni was served very little, although tasty. 1 glass of Pudina buttermilk was served along with this which was tasty but does not fit with the menu. Instead of this, quantity of chatni can be increased.
We also tried Roasted Garlic Cheese Dosa which was a Friday special on a reduced price. It was OK, depending on your taste. Same issue with Sambhar chatni and buttermilk.
They should rename it simply not south. Pathetic outlet. I request people not to try this out. Prices are high and taste is nowhere near South indian. Took Mysore masala dosa and it was below average, roadside stalls will offer you better dosa than this. Chutney and sambar LOL. Cant type more. Try at ur own risk !
