Shrikhandwala, situated on Plot 283 in Nagpur, is a go-to spot for dessert aficionados with a specific penchant for traditional Maharashtrian sweets. The establishment focuses exclusively on desserts and is open daily from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM. It has generated buzz for its variety of shrikhand offerings, such as dry fruit shrikhand, sitafal (custard apple) shrikhand, and notably its popular aamrakhand, or mango shrikhand. Beyond these, they also serve rabri and dink laddoo.
The feedback from visitors highlights the authenticity of the sweets, though it's been about five years since the last customer review appeared. Patrons have noted that Shrikhandwala is a suitable option for ordering large quantities for festive events or special occasions. Despite this praise, the absence of current updates from the owners means prospective guests might want to temper their expectations or seek out new reviews before visiting. Known for its affordable pricing, Shrikhandwala could be a treat for those who enjoy exploring regional dessert offerings.
If you're seeking an authentic slice of Maharashtrian sweetness without breaking the bank, this dessert-only venue might just suit your taste. However, potential visitors might want to confirm the operating status themselves due to the lack of recent information.
Had been hearing a lot about this place so went there to see what the hype was all about. Shrikhandwala is a place specially made for sweet lovers.
Tried their Dry fruit Shrikhand, Sitafal Shrikhand and Mango Shrikhand. The dryfruit and Sitafal Shrikhand were good but the the Amrakhand (Mango Shrikhand) was the stealer. I loved how it was blended and the taste was just really good.
Being a Maharashtrian myself, I have had the pleasure of eating authentic Shrikhand which were even delicious than these but I must say it does live up to the expectations.
