The customer reviews present a mixed picture. Some visitors have expressed disappointment regarding the quality and variety of the sweets offered, while others have praised specific items such as malai gulla, milk cake, and rasmalai for their taste and texture. These reviews highlight a variation in customer experience, with particular praise given to the balance of sweetness in some dishes.
Despite being touted by some as among the best in Mangaluru, the shop lacks recent feedback or updates, as the last known reviews date back three years. Prospective visitors may find it beneficial to stop by and form their own opinion, while keeping expectations moderated due to the disparity in available testimonials.
Located on a busy road in Hampankatta, this place could become a little tricky to find as it is right in the basement of a Complex. I visited this place on a sunny afternoon to have a dessert and pack some sweets for home.
As soon as i entered i checked all the sweets put up for display which made me choose a Rasgulla to eat. They are kind enough to allot a place to eat on a table with some chairs but asking someone whether they would like to buy something more while they are still chewing their food is not a kind gesture. At least learn to have the decency to let people finish their meal. The Rasgulla was very average in taste and eating it was a chore.
I then brought a KG of Mysore Pak (with ghee) [but it is made with oil and not ghee like they claim] and ½ KG Assorted Cashew Sweets. The sweets were again average in tasting and not impressive or appealing. They don't taste fresh after the first day, so if you ever decide shopping here then make sure to eat those Sweets within two days.
If i have to rate Shreya's Sweets, then i will be giving it a 1 as it is not value for money and the taste is just not worth it. Use your money somewhere else instead . I don't see any reason to recommend this place.
Their gulab yamuna are sweet and perfect ?
The best part of the rasmalai is that they are sweet, but not so sweet that one can't handle it. The sweetness is perfect with the perfect flavor.
