In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Urban Theka, stop by this restaurant. Chinese cuisine is to clients' taste at Shree Rathnam.

An average south indian restaurant with hyped prices and just a hyped name actualy. So today we went to Elante and there we decided to have a South Indian meal. So, we ordered Ghee Roast Dosa and Roast Dosa, which is basically Masala Dosa. Now coming to the mains, the best part was the 3 chutneys served with it. The Sambhar was good. Now the dosa looked average, even the presentation didnt matched with the price at all. Super crispy dosa, which I didnt liked at all. That means you can not eat your dosa properly as it was just like a Papad. Next part was its Masala, the masala tasted somewhat on the sweeter side. So average taste. The staff was cordial and good. And then came a blunder also. We ordered tea and Kesar Faluda as well. The tea was just water, tasted bad and the Faluda was priced at 220Rs. So we expected it to be something special, again they disappointed us, poor or we can say a taste that can be found better with the street vendors. So overall a bad experience.

If you are south Indian food lover you cant miss it. Had rava dosa & Chole bhature......... Awesome.

Nice food nice presentation and cleanliness. Reasonable-expensive costs but liked the good. The dosa was nicely cooked and was crispy. Greatly shree rathnam is best for dosas. Next time i will be trying anything else
