This restaurant has authentic food from all the 5 states of South India.Really vast menu.Very hospitable staff.Decor is aesthetic as well.Do try their dessert called coconut creamTheir variations in curries and dosas is amazing.Must visit place if you love authentic south indian food.Worth the price they charge.They spread paper mats on the table, which according to me should not be done, creates a lot of waste.Also they should start giving out cloth napkins instead of tissues.It will go along with the aesthetic theme of the restaurant as well as would be a sustainable choice.

Visited Shree Gomateshwara Bhavan in Malad after some local friends highly recommended it – especially for their Idiyappam, which I was seriously craving. And I’m so glad I went! We tried the Thecha Benny Dosa, which was such a unique and flavour-packed fusion of Maharashtrian and South Indian cuisine. The Idiyappam with coconut-vegetable stew was just perfect – warm, comforting, and exactly what you’d want on a soul-satisfying day. We also went for their Limited Thali – filled with a variety of delicious dishes like dal, rasam, bonda, aloo jeera, Malabar paratha, puri, two types of curries, and my favourite – the pineapple sheera. Every dish was well-balanced, fresh, and full of flavour. One thing that stood out was how accommodating they were – one of my friends is Jain, and they customised everything on the menu for him without any hesitation. That kind of attention is rare and truly appreciated. The place is clean, spacious, and definitely a great spot for a peaceful, family-friendly meal. Highly recommend for anyone who loves comforting South Indian vegetarian food!
