We have been to this place for dinner along with 2 more families in the month of December 2023. We had a Pathetic Service and Food experience here. In the beginning itself the owner of the place (an old man) was speaking rudely although looking at the cleanliness and spacious ambience of the place we decided to have dinner. The non veg thalis were way more expensive for the number and size of fish pieces offered, the vegetarian family among us ordered for "Olya kaju chi bhaji" which was literally made out of soaking dry kaju/cashew in water to fool us and again quantity was not up to the mark for charged price. After our dinner was over the owner came and asked for our review this time he was smiling and seemed happy unlike earlier. I politely tried to convey our disappointments about food quantity to which he started lashing out. He constantly kept on highlighting the usage of Kachhi Ghani oil in his food which is expensive and so are his dishes. Customers don't expect to have healthy oil option while visiting Konkan but good quantity of fish in thali and up to the mark service and professionalism. This person lack it all and has no sense of speaking with customer. He also said that "people from specific cultural background" complain like what we did. He was trying to point out our cast which was disgusting. He has got no professionalism and work ethics whatsoever. I would recommend avoid visiting this place and save yourself from ruining your trip mood. Food taste was ok. We had amazing food taste, quantity and quality at Murud for same price.
