It is one of the best places near Pune. I went there with my family and friends on Saturday, it was not at all crowded ~30 people (including us). The staff is very polite and helpful. They have arranged cold water storage cans all over the place. The place was well maintained (except the water pond) where boating is done. The food was very decent at all times - breakfast, lunch and snacks. Adventure activities are quite good and unique. Kids enjoyed the train ride. Overall, it was very worth visiting Shivtara Retreat.
