On way from Delhi to Dehradun in late week of Nov morning we stopped by after Daurala Toll Plaza in Meerut at Shiva Dhaba with proprietor name Jitendra Chaudhary attached to it The dhaba had adequate seating options outside under canopy and closed indoor seating options for us -as we (2 of us) ordered Aloo paratha, Gobhi paratha and I queried for Rawa idly (recommended by my dietician for the day)- the waiter attending said ‘available’ and got the simple usual idly in yellow melamine thaali plate and when I informed other staff - he promptly told me ‘we will not charge for this - can remove it but this usual idly in urad -rice batter ONLY WE HAVE‘ I let it be because I had consumed little of it and later sought Rawa paneer dosa (not in menu) and he said ‘will get back after talking to cook’ and later served me after confirmingThe idly was ok and rawa dosa super crisp but paneer felt rubbery (chewy infact) making me worry of the paneer quality and I left that finishing just dosa part. The Gobhi paratha was superb with perfect balance of spice ginger coriander leaves with salt / masala and aloo paratha was also fine. In beverages - My husband took 3 servings of tea - first one extremely sugary, replaced by bland tea and again replaced by another Tea which waiter served after taking inputs and served to his pleasure - hence 4 rating for service . Our bill for this was 578 after5% gst of 27.50₹ (5th pic). We paid by credit card though most people pay cash . UPI options also exist at this dhaba This place has toilets for both gender separately ( the light though less, it was relatively much cleaner than what we usually find highway restaurants to be ), the cleaning lady did a mopping round infront of me again. They have namkeen shop and ice cream stall separate next to main restaurant . Parking infront (2&3 pic) was sufficient. Definitely try the Paratha’s at this place any day Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Tandoori Gobhi Paratha, Idli Sambar Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian Vegetarian options: Most of customers were preferring paratha or South Indian dosa / idly options . Did not see anyone having Chinese noodles or pakora at morning hours when we dined there .

This hotel is 3 hours drive away while going from Dehradun to Delhi and 1.5 hours if coming from Delhi. From Dehradun side you have to take a U-turn for this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is also fast (food will be served in 10 mins). The washrooms are clean and have AC. Restaurant itself is clean. You can consider to stop here on your journey. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
