Pathetic Service, Total Mismanagement, and a Monumental Decline This is heartbreaking to write. We have been loyal customers of Shiv Pani Puri since the days you ran a small stall at Bordi Beach. Over the years, we've watched the establishment go from better to worse to its current, absolute worst state. The nostalgia is the only thing keeping this review from being zero stars. The current experience is a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. You are truly on your own here. The Nightmare Starts Immediately: Right from the parking lot, there was no watchman or attendant to assist. It took us a frustrating 30 minutes just to find a table. Once seated, the chaos continued. We received no assistance from any waiter or captain. Rudeness and Ridiculous Wait Times: When we finally managed to flag down a passing waiter to inquire about service, the response was a shocking and rude, "I don’t know, ask someone else." It took a full 25 minutes after we were seated for a captain to finally arrive at the table to take our order. The ultimate insult was when he informed us that the food would take 1.5 hours to arrive due to the "rush." This level of mismanagement is completely unacceptable. We overheard countless other customers who were waiting—both outside and on their tables—going through the exact same ordeal, complaining bitterly about the poor management and lack of service. We also spoke with others who had eaten and confirmed the food quality was no longer up to the mark. Our Final Verdict: Do not waste your time or money. Go to Shiv Pani Puri only if you have all the time in the world and are prepared to endure rude behavior and utter mismanagement for what is now reportedly pathetic food.
