Eating at this restaurant with a great view of The Nilgiri Library will be a positive experience for customers. Chinese cuisine can be tried here. Do not leave without tasting nicely cooked chilli beef, chinese soup and chinese rice. You will be offered good lemonade.
The staff is competent that's what makes Shinkows- Chinese Restaurant so good. Guests say that the service is enjoyable here. Many visitors note that prices are low for what you receive. Had been for dinner here. The taste is just like any street side Chinese restaurant, and has nothing that commands a visit. The service and ambiance as very average too. When I went to tip the server 50₹ on a 500₹ bill, he asked for more; ended up tipping 100. You would find better places in Ooty. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

WORST SERVICE EVER We occupied a table as soon as we reached. The table cloth was dirty!! We shifted tables twice and it's the same. And finally we sat at a table, called the waiters at least 30 times only to not get any response back. We kept insisting that they take our order but they wouldn't!! And finally, a waiter came to us and handed us this to write our order. Meanwhile there was a "rich" family who arrived after us and still got more preference than us Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

A trip to Ooty is not complete without visiting shinkows. As a Joesephite have regularly visited here. Chilly pork noodles fried rice and sweet corn soup is a no natch
