This is one of the old and well-known restaurants in Poonoor, serving the community for many years. It’s a budget-friendly, no-frills eatery, popular for its affordable meals and friendly service. A reliable choice for locals and travelers looking for simple, tasty food without spending much. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. The staff are mostly elderly, which adds a nostalgic, homely touch. However, during peak hours, there’s often a sudden rush for tables, so seating can get a bit crowded. Interestingly, in the evenings, they seem to offer some Arabian dishes as well — possibly shawarma or grilled items — which is a nice addition for those looking for a variety in the menu. One major concern is the parking situation. There is no dedicated parking space, and it gets very congested in front of the restaurant, as the Poonoor autorickshaw stand is located right there. Autos are parked almost full time, making it difficult for car users.
