A local attraction - Urban Theka, that is situated beside Shichang, is a part of the unique culture of this city. Visitors mention that it's fine to go here for the Chinese and Japanese meal. You can share tasty cheese dumplings, udon and udon noodles with your friends and spend a good time here. Try good ice cream.
The success of this place would be impossible without the cool staff. Enjoyable service is something guests like here.

Loved my dinner here. Everything from the snacks to soup to Sushi to Dumplings was flavoursome and a treat for the palette.

Okay, that was such a disgusting meal. Overpriced, the quality of ingredients was mediocre. Too much sauce for the sushi. The pho was bland. The presentation was below par. Nothing about the restaurant was worth appreciating. Oh and the dumpling were really really bad. Street momos are better tasting.

I am Bowled Over by the Shichang experience at Hyatt! Hyatt has surpassed my expectations in every manner with their newly opened restaurant Shichang – The Asian Market which lies on the 1st Level next to Piccante. The eye for details is visible from the paintings on the Wall to the carefully placed Bone China crockery and Chopstikcs on the table. The Staff is extremely well trained and know the minute details in every dish mentioned in the Menu. Coming to the Food, we went in a large group so got to try a lot many dishes:- Pomelo, Grapefruit, Arugula Salad is a must try if you like Fruits.- Thai Mince Chicken, Green Onion Salad was too good and had prominent Thai Herb Flavors coming out.- Salmon Maki, Yasai Maki, California Uramaki were superb Sushis. Their Sushi Chef is adept at his art and highly skillfull, clearly visible from the immaculately presented Sushi.- Lamb Chop, Crispy Lotus Stem (Must try, Highly Recommended), Grilled Prawns Black Pepper (Huge Fresh Water Prawns grilled to perfection and so Fresh, Seldom have I had better Seafood in Chandigarh, loved this dish)- Chicken Thigh, Silken Tofu were both too good.- Chicken & Chive Dumpling, Asparagus & Wild Mushroom Dumpling, Cheese & Black Fungus Dumpling were all perfect- Thai Chili Galangal Chicken Soup (Must try if you like Coconuts), Vegetable Dumpling Soup were both good.- Barbeque Chicken Fried Rice were so flavourful and wholesome. Praised by everyone present on the table, these too are a must try.- Spicy Udon Noodles, Thai Chicken Red Curry, Jasmine Rice, Bok Choy Shiitake Mushroom in Oyster Sauce were all good.- Green Tea Cheesecake amongst the Desserts was the winner.I see not reason why ShiChang shouldn’t be a huge success in the coming years. I will definitely return and hope they live upto the Fabulous experience each time. Cheers!
