See Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa Monastery and come to this restaurant. The Indian cuisine is nice at Sher-e-Punjab (Mall Rd. ) Restaurant. To order perfectly cooked trout, tandoori chicken and paneer is a really good idea. Great lassi or good lemonade are the most popular drinks of this place.

The food at Sher-e-Punjab Restaurant in Manali was not good. The rotis were undercooked, and the chicken was also not good. The rotis were completely raw and not properly cooked.

Visited the place with family for Dinner on 02 March 2026 during our Manali Trip. Prices are high in comparison to the portions offered by the restaurant. Especially comparing to Sher-e-Punjab restaurants at other tourist destinations in Himachal. Had Kadhai Chicken and Dal Fry, the offerings were totally bland devoid of any taste traditionally assosiated with Punjabi cuisine or for that matter any North Indian Cuisine. Absolutely not worth your money and most importantly not worth wasting your time that too when you are hungry.

Worst food with insufficient quantity of anything you ordered. They served half cooked roti and ordered dal fry its half cooked.
