It's easy to find this bar due to the convenient location. The success of Shepherdhills Resort wouldn't be possible without the nice staff. Enjoyable service is something visitors like here. As for the Google rating, this place achieved 4.6.

We stayed here on their opening day in 2021. Hospitality was unmatched, they picked us from the spot our car broke down following a storm in the hills, accommodated us despite less room availability and also got our cab driver a good room in the outhouse. We shared a bonfire and drinks over snacks and dinner with the manager, had a sound sleep and woke up to a beautiful valley view at daybreak. This review is for the manager from the opening day + our experience & memories :)

Our recent stay at Shepherd Hills Resort, located just 5–6 km from Chamba Town on the Chamba-Khajjiar road, was nothing short of magical. Nestled on a gentle elevation, the resort offers stunning views and a peaceful environment that truly lets you unwind. The rooms were beautiful, well-maintained, and cozy — perfect for a family getaway. The food was incredibly delicious, and we found ourselves looking forward to every meal. A special mention goes to the homemade chutney that the owner, Mr. Pankaj, graciously brought from his home — it added a delightful local touch to our meals. Pankaj is not just a great host but also a genuinely helpful person. He helped us plan our itinerary with great care and suggested some offbeat locations worth visiting. Interestingly, he shared his views on Dalhousie being a bit overrated — and after visiting, I found myself agreeing. Places like Kasauli have a charm and vibe that’s hard to replicate, something I felt missing in Dalhousie. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality from the staff — always polite, attentive, and ready to help. Our kids had a wonderful time too, making it a perfect family vacation. The overall experience was peaceful, homely, and rejuvenating. We are already planning to return for a longer stay to explore more offbeat gems in the region. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene escape in the lap of nature.

Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel surpasses all expectations with its exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, hilly view and convenient location. In conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with my family at Shepherdhills Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views. I look forward to returning in the future! Rooms: The room itself was immaculate. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure cleanliness and comfort. The bed was cozy and the amenities provided added an extra touch of luxury to my stay. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the room's design and decor—it truly enhanced the overall ambiance.
