Hotel Shelar Family Restaurant boasts a very convenient location right on NH 66, making it an easy stop for travelers. Ample parking space and the availability of EV charging are definitely welcome amenities. Infact, most parking was covered! The toilets were also clean and spacious. However, our experience during a May start weekend was mixed. While the food was okay, the restaurant was excessively crowded, and the staff seemed unable to cope with the volume of customers. This resulted in a significant delay in receiving our food, and some menu items were unavailable. Even the AC hall offered insufficient cooling during the afternoon heat. On the positive side, it's worth noting that Hotel Shelar is one of the few restaurants in the area offering AC seating. I would be willing to try this restaurant again during a less busy period, hoping for a better experience with the service and availability of the full menu. Location is good. Nice spot to celebrate small functions. We tried veg food — taste was okay. Chinese dishes need improvement — better to reduce artificial color and use mild color tones. Overall decent experience. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
